  • Water buckets for the horse to drink from. Two is always better than one!
  • Feed buckets
  • Hay nets
  • Rubber mats right for the stable floor( this can be optional but can save time with less shavings or straw)
  • There is manure fork for skipping out and mucking.
  • There is wheelbarrow which can be used for dirty shavings and manure. Try using a wheelbarrow for making it easier for moving the dirty bedding right over to manure pile.
  • A rake can be useful for making sure that there is not any dropping in shavings making the bedding flat.


Yard Cleaning


It is not always that the stable needs cleaning but the yards in general. Certain extra pieces of stable equipment one will need to ensure that aisleways and paddocks and certain areas are always looking good:


  • Broom for sweeping floors
  • Spade for picking poo
  • Hosepipe to wash down dirty or muddy areas
  • Scissors for yard jobs.
